Privacy Policy

Tailgate Command (“we,” “us”), an Okie Concepts product, helps groups organize tailgates: tracking dues, menus, RSVPs, and messages. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the app you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account information. Your email address and password (passwords are stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider), and the first name, last name, and optional profile photo you add to your profile.
• Content you create. Tailgates and games you set up, RSVPs, dues/payment status, menu items, host messages, group-chat messages, photos you upload, team colors, and logos.
• Payment usernames. If you’re a host, the Venmo or Cash App username you choose to share so your crew can pay you. We do not process payments or collect bank, card, or financial-account information. Payments happen directly inside Venmo or Cash App.
• Device & notifications. If you enable push notifications, a device push token used to deliver them.
• Technical data. Basic information needed to operate and secure the app (such as app version and error diagnostics).

How we use your information

• To provide the app: create and manage tailgates, show the roster and dues ledger, share menus and messages, and deliver notifications you’ve enabled.
• To keep the service secure and working, and to respond to your support requests.
• To review content reported by users and enforce our Terms.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

How information is shared

• With your crew. When you join or host a tailgate, your name, profile photo, RSVP status, dues status, and any content you post are visible to the other members of that tailgate.
• Service providers. We use Supabase to host our database, authentication, and file storage, and Expo to deliver push notifications. They process data only to provide these services to us.
• Payments. Venmo and Cash App handle any money you send or receive; their own privacy policies apply.
• Legal. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

Your choices and rights

• Delete your account. You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time in the app: More → Profile → Delete my account. Tailgates you host are removed for everyone; your membership in tailgates hosted by others is removed.
• Access and correction. You can edit your profile in the app, or contact us to request a copy or correction of your data.
• Notifications. You can turn push notifications on or off in the app and in your device settings.
• Block & report. You can block other users and report objectionable content from within the chat and photo features.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal obligations.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, and access to your data is restricted by per-user security rules. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

Tailgate Command is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date above.
